Our Location
Driving:
We are located at 435 Mohawk Rd West, on the mountain, in Hamilton, ON, at the corner of Garth St & Mohawk Rd. Our parking lot is accessible via Mohawk Dr and Sunshine Crt.
Public Transit:
There is an HSR bus stop located directly in front of the church, stop ID 2358.
Accessibility:
We are fully accessible. Please enter through our main entrance (red side doors opposite the Fire Hall), and you'll find the elevator in the entrance that can take you to the main level. Our worship space, offices, and accessible washrooms are all located on the main floor.
You Have a Place
Come as you are. We really mean it! At Church of the Resurrection you'll find a diversity of people. Some like to dress up when attending worship, others will wear blue jeans/ shorts and t-shirts. Our worship leaders often wear special attire that is symbolic of our tradition, but most dress pretty casually. We have greeters whose job it will be to welcome you and answer any questions you might have.
Worship @ COTR
We are passionate about our worship at Church of the Resurrection! As Anglicans, we have access to a rich tradition of liturgy (written prayers) and hymnody. As progressive Anglicans, we are always looking for fresh expressions of worship that include inclusive language, contemporary music, and engaging, gospel-centred preaching. Our worship space reflects this balance with modern iconography lining the west wall, and stained glass adorning the east. Everything you need for worship will be projected on a screen and you will be guided through the worship service by Rev. Stephen or one of our priest associates.
